I wanted to trust this company because the commercial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4OEbJGKnCg) made it seem as though there is no broker, and the van would be an Apple Van that picks up from A and delivers to B. Not the case. They are a broker and the van retrieved my stuff, they stored my stuff for waaaaay longer than promised, then another van delivered. If they were transparent from the beginning, I would have appreciated that. Misleading commercial, misleading sales person, toook way longer than they mentioned to me on phone.
They demanded me to pay double the contract dollars during interstate transaction and dropped my furniture to nowhere after I refused to pay their fraud charges.Keep away from this business if you do not want to be cheated.
I am giving one star because zero is not an option. I dealt with Jerry and we went room by room, item by item with a description and size of every item. He estimated approximately 1600cf and $3500.00; after many hours of loading and me asking for someone in authority to call me they charged me for 2300cf and over $5000.00. I can understand an estimate being off by 5%-10% but 50% is FRAUD. The movers came in an Enterprise 26ft box truck with lift gate and proceeded to tell me my 2bdrm house, garage etc was only suppose to take a little over have of it, ridiculous. Doing standard math and talking with Enterprise the most that truck can hold is about 1900cf, FRAUD! I wrote in dispute all over everything but no one will talk to you until your stuff is delivered, late, and they won't unlock the truck without full payment. They knew my things were going into storage and you would think they would pack it accordingly, not so. My solid oak furniture and white couch, among other things are not wrapped and open to dust and the elements. I paid for some things to be crated but the only things protected are the ones we supplied blankets, quilts etc for. My 200 lb lawn deer was supposed to be crated but he rode up it the cab of the truck. I have notified DOT of what must be an infraction of interstate transportation laws. Many pieces are broken, not sure my antique tea cart can be fixed but the estimate to try is $300.00. We haven't had a chance to get into the boxes with china and crystal yet. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! I called the police on the delivery date just so I would have it on record that day and the driver informed me the owner of Apple Van Lines is a retired police officer. I could only reply "then shame on him". I could care less if he was the chief of police, he's crooked as heck and gives law enforcement a bad name. My daughter is in law enforcement as are many of her friends and they too think him and his company are scammers. I am trying to recoup some of my losses but if I only succeed in Apple Van Lines getting a large fine I'm happy Fraud Fraud Fraud, Avoid at all costs.

I was so happy to see the truck pull up but when they opened the side door, My guitar case fell out along with the box my china was in. Guitar survived, china did not. I do have to give props to those poor ladies in Customer Service, Anne and Yohari who took my daily calls and were professional and courteous. I counted all the boxes and the exact number was delivered along with all my furniture. I paid exactly what I had agreed to and the men that showed up to unload my things were nice. Just know that the salesperson who tells you all the wonderful things and gives you the best quote for the move is not someone you will ever be able to reach again once they have your money.

My wife and I chose this company for moving our stuff from California to Charlotte (300 cubic feet on 1,000 dollars) simply because Jerry gave us the cheapest quote and shortest delivery time (by tricking us), but we truly regret our decision by now and we hope you don't repeat this mistake. Worst experience I have had with any company, ever. They were a no-show for my move, even with my constant calling. Still could not give me a date for pick up. Acted like it was my fault because they are so busy. When I asked for a refund I was told I had to request it in writing and it would take a week-10 days. Rude and dishonest. How do they stay in business? I wish I had read the other reviews first. Do yourself a favor and use a different company if you value your time and money. I am back to square one but perhaps dodged a bullet reading the other reviews about the damage done.
Iíve used moving companies several times in the past, and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with! They are dishonest, fraudulent, and extremely unprofessional. Nearly all of our furniture has significant damages, and all of our picture frames and glass decorations were destroyed! The driver Ronshal, who delivered our furniture, arrived late and failed to complete his job by leaving our furniture unassembled even though we paid for the full service from packing to delivering to assembling, with a total charge of over $8,000 for 1500 cf. In addition, the driver overcharged us $380 for shuttle services. I called customer service multiple times; the office manager Anne was very rude. She blamed us for their mistake and demanded that we find the missing screws so the driver might come back with no indication of a specific time frame. We were unable to reach her after she hang up on us not only once but TWICE (second time by a representative named Yohari)! I could not believe this is how customer service deals with its customers! They are deceptive and refused to disclose any information about the company. Also, I later found that they lied about being unable to find the screws to assemble furniture; I found them in the drawers. We felt cheated off our money that we are unable to contact anyone to resolve this issue. We are still missing screws for our furniture that canít be used without them. This is a breach of the contract. I will bring this to the Better Business Bureau and file a civil lawsuit and court claim with max of $10k. I urge other victims to join me and expose this companyís scam! This behavior is beyond tolerable!

Hi, I recently moved from Houston to Jersey City and have my home and luggage shipped through Apple Van Lines. When I initially called to get a quote, their staff was very convincing and helping and they told me that within 5 working days, from the day you confirm that you are ready to receive the shipment, we will deliver your stuff. They gave various statements supporting this and we were convinced that we will get our stuff within 5 working days as a result even though we booked our new house on 4th May, we called on 8th May so that we get our stuff on a weekend. It has been two weeks now and when we call every day to inquire when is our stuff coming, their operations department doesn't have any update. Since we have almost made 75% of the payment and our stuff is with them, we don't have any other option than calling daily to check when our luggage is coming. Now when we call, their customer care gives the same answer every day that they are well within their SLA of 15-21 working days and there is nothing they can do about it. If this was told earlier to us, we would have gone to another movers and packers instead of Apple Van lines. This is not the correct way of doing business, promising speedy delivery while getting the order and then not delivering it and hiding behind the terms and conditions of the SLA. I find all this highly unethical and am really disappointed. It is the end of 2nd week, today and we don't know how long we need to wait till we get our stuff.
