This was the most awful moving experience feasible. They quoted me one price and came to my home and also stated I owed double the quantity I was estimated in cash money. Given that the movers were currently there, I really did not have much of a choice other than to pay them. They packaged up my things and also left vacant tape rolls all over my clean apartment or condo. After that they informed me they would certainly show up on a specific day. I drove 8.5 hrs to reach my new area as well as called them from the car as well as they said it was never arranged for that day ... although I was verified the evening before they would certainly show up the following day. I was stranded with no furnishings for 5 days without my personal belongings. Then when they lastly arrived they said I owed even more loan. I was livid. They would not removed my stuff off the truck until they were paid. After they unloaded my things. I had missing furniture legs as well as some my small items were taken apart when they never ever needed to be condensed. It essentially made no feeling. Particularly the feet on my furniture and also footrest. There was absolutely no reason for them to be taken off. They did not have any type of problems being brought with doors with the feet on. A lots of the glasses were damaged as well as they claimed sorry which's all. I made a grievance for them to find my furniture feet or compensation me so I can buy new ones. I had actually moved in October and also it is April and they still have actually not connected as soon as or gotten back to me regarding my missing out on products. It was essentially the most awful moving experience ever. DO NOT USAGE THIS COMPANY.

I had place an order for movers 6 weeks out before the moment. I purely told the lady(Phyliss) that it must definitely be for 6-12-19. Well they called me on Monday 6-10-19 stating that they would be there the next day. I said "NO" it's for the 12. The male was so rude to me, he told me you either take tomorrow or else. Phyliss had actually recommended me the she would certainly be my get in touch with individual throughout the whole procedure, well when I phoned call to talk with her, I was informed she ran out the office for a couple of days. Not only that, they decline to offer me a refund on my down payment because I couldnt action on the date they stated due to the fact that I still had another day to learn my 2 week notice. I needed to dispute them for costs. They are really unprofessional and also fraudulent!
Made an internet review that should clear it up: Personally I feel I had an awful experience with very disrespectful drivers and dispatchers. Incredibly unprofessional. Dispatch called from a completely separate number area code stating driver would be there between 12 and 2pm. They showed up at 3. They showed up in a Penske truck and no uniform. They blindsided me with a 50% upfront cash or money order only down payment which was never discussed at time of set up. When questioned driver became irritated and very confrontational. His only effort of customer service was when tried to give me his personal cell to verify the charge was correct with a random person as if that was reassuring. I refused not feeling comfortable and was mocked. I attempted several times to call the original office I had set up with but no answer. They have closed office as it was Sunday. This made me question this mover even more. Why send service out( no uniform in unmarked car) if I could not reach someone Incase emergency? I moved beyond this hoping I could maybe find a solution through the driver. I asked him to please have the office call my number to feel more comfortable and I was mocked again. At that time I was called by a different unrecognized number. The person was claiming to be dispatch calling to ask me why I had an issue with the driver and more worried about me recognizing the her personal inconvenience than helping fix the issue. I was willing till this point to find a solution and resolve this to continue the move however I now felt extremely uncomfortable as I could not find any evidence to this person being my mover. Reasons were once again, no uniform, no name tag, Penske truck, cash only demand, office not open for calls, combative personal, and unrecognizable numbers and unwilling to help service. Iíd like to add that when I asked the dispatcher to cancel she told me there was charges and told me that I wasted her one and her drivers Gas like I was to reimburse. She told me the driver would explain the charges to me. Before I hang up the helper or passenger came to tell me the driver needed to speak with me by the truck. I go to talk and he is on the phone complaining about me to his next customer. I try to look past it and wait in the rain politely. I wait as he calls 3 other people via Bluetooth and ignores me. Each call was to tell someone how crazy and ridiculous I was being. Ask anyone, Iím clam in situations like this. Iíve worked in high end jewelry stores and b2b customer service along with 13 collective service positions. I got fed up and told him when he was ready to come get me, without a word he packed up and left. Dispatch calls me and yells at me to reaffirm their inconvenience and then the driver calls to do the same just bad service all over

THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM OPERATING AS A MOVING COMPANY!My wife and I hired them to move us from South Carolina to California. My wife spent the majority of the time dealing with Kay, a salesperson. While Kay was very helpful in getting us set up, once they had our deposit, it was a completely different story. We were given a date for the movers to arrive and pick up our items. We had boxed all of the items ourselves, with the exception of a couple of specialty items that we felt required special attention and expert handling.Everything else (all large items: furniture, beds, entertainment center outdoor items, etc.) was to be packed by the movers when they arrived. When the movers arrived, pretty much on time, I was surprised to see them pull up with a large box truck (a rental, no less), as opposed to a semi. When I reminded the driver (who seemed to be the leader) of how much we had, he assured me it would all fit on the truck. Aside from the driver, there was only one other worker.(A third worker showed up a couple of hours later, at which time we learned that he was answering a Craigslist ad to make $100 for helping pack the truck!) The driver concentrated on wrapping the large items, mostly in blankets, while his helper loaded the boxes, which we had packed and set out in the garage, onto the truck. When it became apparent that not everything would fit on the truck, as we had warned them, the driver said that they needed to take what was on the truck to a storage facility down the road, unload it, then return for the rest. At no time were we told that the move would be handled in this manner. We asked how long the items would remain there, and he said a semi truck would be by on Monday morning (it was Saturday that they picked up our items). We asked why they didn't just schedule the pickup for Monday when the larger truck would be here, but he said he didn't know - he was just doing what he was told. They returned for the rest of the items, and three times they attempted to leave, assuming they were done, and we had to remind them of items that they hadn't gotten to yet. They were very unprepared, and were in a big hurry to finish and leave. Well, Monday arrived, and no one picked up our furniture. We had already leased our home, and were driving to California on Tuesday morning. At that point, Kay, whom my wife had been dealing with, couldn't be reached (we were told that it was out of her control at this point anyway), so we now we are on the road to California, with no way of contacting anyone that could tell us when our furniture would be picked up. A co-worker of my wife was also relocating, from North Carolina, and she was told that her household items would be on the same truck as ours, since our destinations were withing a few hours of each other. We arrived in California 5 days later, and our furniture still hadn't left South Carolina. My wife's friend had been doing some investigating while we were on the road. She found out that All USA Van Lines had no insurance, and their license had been revoked, so they were technically not allowed to be doing business at all. That same day, we finally got in touch with Giovanni (in customer service, I believe). We confronted him with the information regarding the company's license revocation, and he tried to tell us that everything was fine, it was just a misunderstanding and that some minor paperwork the next day would clear things up.We told him that we wanted out, that no one from that company should remove our belongings from storage, but were told by him that they had just been picked up that morning, and the driver was on his way to North Carolina to pick up my wife's friends items. We asked how they could do that without a license, and he said he brokered it out to another company, Sammy's, I believe, out of Florida. We were outraged, to say the least, but we were told that he had already left, and that everything would be fine, and that we would be calling him when our furniture arrived to thank him for such great service. Well, we got "Sammy's" number and called him, and he said it would take him 4 or 5 days to get there.Meanwhile, we're stuck in a hotel in Sacramento, with two dogs. 4 days later we call to find out where he is, and he's just entering New Mexico! Asked why it was taking him so long, he said something about getting tied up in Louisiana, which wasn't even on the way! 4 days after that, he arrived at my wife's friends house, and she called us in tears. As they were unloading her items, most of them were scratched, dented, or just plain broken. She said she saw our items as well (some were actually tied to the back of the truck, uncovered, not even inside!), and also noticed extensive damage. He arrive the next morning to our house, and as soon as the boxes started to come in from the truck, I almost got sick to my stomach. I've attached a couple of photos of what some of the boxes and other items looked like when they brought them into the house (THE PICTURES WERE SERIOUSLY TAKEN AS THE ITEMS WERE CARRIED IN TO THE HOUSE)".When we began to confront Sammy, he just shrugged and said we need to take it up with Giovanni.. We almost had to force Sammy to call Giovanni and admit that there were a lot of damaged items|. Giovanni said to make a list of the damaged/destroyed items, and call him when the movers left, which we did, but of course he didn't answer our call/. After three days of attempted calls and emails, he finally called and offered us $200 for the damaged items! What an insult! By our estimate, he's off by a little over $3,000! We've since demanded neutral arbitration from the company, which by law they are required to provide.. We have also filed a complaint with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), on the grounds that they were not authorized to be doing business due to the lack of insurance;.They still don't have insurance:. You can go to ProtectYourMove,.gov, click on "Search Movers and Complaint History", and search by their U.S. DOT # (1882970) and see their complaint history, and how often in the past they've had their licensed revoked for lack of insurance. This move has been nothing short of a nightmare.Hopefully they will be fined heavily, or even prohibited from operating ever again, and we'll get some money for our damaged and destroyed items. Please, don't try to save a dollar when it comes to something as precious as your household/personal items - hire an established company with a good known reputation.DO NOT USE ALL USA VAN LINES! d40082
LESSON: Call a Realtor for a referral of a reputable moving company, even if the phone quote SEEMS like† a good deal. Quote was done over the phone.†† I have since found reputable movers who have taught me: NEVER DO A QUOTE OVER THE INTERNET OR PHONE. We reserved the elevator for 1-4 for our move and called twice to tell them.† They showed up at 9:00 AM.† We told them we were not allowed to move until 1, they came back at 3:00.† They then said, oh, you have a lot more square footage.† We had measured and counted and reported each box and piece of furniture.† We were to store for 35 days until our apartment is ready.† One of the movers smelled so bad we had to spray Fabreze after he left.† In the hall as well as the apartment. We were forced to find another apartment that won't be available until another week.† We called to change the delivery date.† We knew they'd tell us there'd be a storage fee increase.† They told us WE CAN'T HAVE OUR THINGS FOR A MONTH LATER THAN THE ORIGINAL DELIVERY DATE.† I won't even discuss where they stored our things.† One might assume near the pick-up or delivery location.† Nope.† Richmond, VA.† 2 hours from the pick-up, 8 hours from the delivery. To date, we still haven't seen any of our household items. Please, heed my advice:† contact a Realtor you know and ask them for a referral.† Don't ever book a mover over the phone or internet, no matter what they quote.
Very bad experience. Summary: very late delivery, two bookshelves were missing, one bike is missing, most of other delivered furniture are damaged (chair, end table etc.) Details: First of all, I got into this via mid-way van lines (was dealing with ralph there). They promised me that stuff will be delivered within at max 10 days. Pick up was by all USA van lines and was on time. Once picked up, I had to call them 15 times to get the delivery. The biggest problem was it was very hard to get to their dispatch department. Very rarely they answer (of course, what is voicemail!). Whenever you get someone, they are rude. As per the dispatch, they can take up to 21 business days and whatever sales agent told me was bs! Frustrating part has they never answered my calls nor answered my emails. I was scared - how on earth am I going to get my stuff back? When they finally delivered, I didn't two bookshelves. They said it broke in the warehouse! My bike was not delivered. They don't know where is it. The exercise bike is broken. Dining table chair is damaged. The bed frame is wet. Fortunately, all the boxes (which we packed) were fine.† Then it comes to "Long carry". Truck drivers who deliver intentionally give many reasons to increase the length of walk and charge for "Long carry". I paid $500 just for long carry (First of all, sales agent never told me about long carry charges. Never mind) and then we are after all humans - so we tip too! I could have bought all of my stuff in my total cost! Their customer service is horrible. Everyone is rude. They rarely answer calls.
So I wrote a review about USA VAN lines a few moments ago when I was still unable to get ahold of them after 21 days of waiting for our delivery.† I just got off the phone with a lady who said that our stuff was in storage in Georgia.† (We moved from North Carolina) They were waiting on a driver heading out West. The discount for every day they are late...$9.99.† So at that little bit of financial unconvieniance to the company they could hold our stuff for several more weeks till they find other fools to trust them with an East to West move.† In my opinion if a company makes certain delivery promises, like an already outrageous delivery time frame, to give them the time they need to gather customers and make the trip financialy fruitful to the company, then it should be their responsibility to take the losses of not being able to gather the cusomer base in the desired time frame.† This is how you earn loyal customers, by keeping faith with your promises. I will never use this company again.
Very disillusioned with this company, terrible service, all our belongings got damaged and in poor condition, plus broken. Poor customer care! Never answer the phone and when they do not have the correct information. In addition to harm us our stuff, we lost boxes and were not responsible but only $150 prima experience with this company unserious, irresponsible and bad! Not recommended for nothing!
