Please, please!!!! Im pleading you people, Do Refrain service with those wrongdoers. They are burglars and they will make your experience unpleasant. I was not just overcharged but they additionally left some of my furnitures outside where I needed to pay an extra 200 bucks to move them in. I called them regarding a repayment for the 200 bucks as well as they had the nerves to call me a thief. I stay in Aventura in a high-rise for that reason the association was on my butt. I had to go grab two people from House Depot to assist in various other not to obtain fined by the organization. It was a miserable evening as well as I would not desire it on any person of you individuals. This is the first time I'm leaving a testimonial in my 41 year of presence so yes I was hurt by the situation. They pass LaProm as well btw.
I contracted with 24 Moving, who gave me a written estimate of $380 for three guys to load a truck and move my stuff 30 miles & $380 to unload the next morning. A truck saying they worked from LAPROM Moving arrived four hours late to load the truck. They loaded the truck with nothing stacked over six feet high ("we have plenty of space") and were unable to fit a bunch of my stuff. They charged me $535 and threatened to unload the truck if I did not pay. Then they said they would have to charge me even more - for a second truck and crew to move the remaining stuff. So. I rented a UHaul van and did the rest myself for $84. They were scheduled to deliver between 10 and 11 am on Friday and arrived at 6 pm with only two guys and one was under the influence of something. The bullied and intimidated my girlfriend to get her to sign the paperwork. They threatened to take my stuff and hold is hostage. The office did not return any of a dozen phone calls. I had to search the truck. They tried to steal a TV and bike and air compressor saying it was not mine, but part of another move. Their estimate was for three hours - they took five hours - and tried to charge me $95 an hour when their truck says two guys & a truck for $75 an hour. They charged me for an hour for folding furniture pads. They ended up charging me $550 for the unload, over 40% more than the estimate. They damaged six pieces of wood furniture (dresser, head board, coffee table, etc.) I got some money back from the credit card company after 4+ months of fighting. These guys are criminals and bullies. Never, ever use 24 Moving or LaProm Moving!!!
WARNING!!!! This company has even now gone to the extent of THREATENING me and my girlfriend. Actual phone call threats and now harassment. Yes! Actual threats to "Not F#&% with them and they are coming to see me NOW". All of this right after I asked through email: For the owner to call me, to let me know they would not do this to others & an apology. I denied buying them all brand new material for the boxes used that they asked. The very next morning I got this call & me and my gf have since had late night harassment calls. I can't even believe it. I had to make a police report and put cameras up at my 3 properties. They defrauded my mother and girlfriend out of $635 dollars by wrapping items we told them NOT to do without our permission. They charged us some $95 and $75 fees to wrap things that were not even worth $50! This was after my gf told them to NOT wrap anything without her approval. If she did not stop them at the hour mark (yes $635 charge in less than an hour about) they would have kept on wrapping pointless items up. Did I also mention that they were using OUR OWN PACKING material in these items they charged us on? Yes. Not only were they almost an hour late but they were very unhelpful when the problems came about. I contacted company and got the run around with 4 different people. I then told them I will not pay those fees and they basically held our items to not deliver without the $1232 payment. It was the $635 that I was not going to pay for. I am very much about even exchange and told them this. I just cant pay for fraudulent charges. I was forced to pay but I stopped them after this last delivery since we had another entire house to move. They obviously did not move it after this. I contacted the company and I was promised a resolution. They wanted to give me $200 back and treated me horribly on the phone. I told them I do not want their $200 out of the $635 they took from us and that I will make sure people know what they have done to us. I wanted to sure that poor old ladies and other victims will not be scammed again. If I could speak to the owner that could even help me out. I then had a "Spokesman" call me days later from an unavailable number. Because he does these things for the Owner he said. He didn't even work for 24moving.com. Weird to say the least. We talked about fair exchange & I told him to me it was important to know that this would not happen to others. I told him if I had to, I was going to do an educational campaign online. They obviously did not want this and I was MORE than willing to not do anything if they did the right thing. He said I would get my $635 back if I returned the used wrapping. I let him know I had already thrown a way a bunch of it and he said fine. He was supposed to send an email with the agreement we made. LAST EMAIL BACK FROM THEM: I did not hear anything from the "Spokesman" until I had Jeremy from 24moving send me an email on 3/21/16 They had stipulations that I could not do an educational campaign online, that I cancel all negative reviews online and not go forth with the domain names I now purchased. I was fully ok with it all and I was willing to NOT do any type of education campaign or even putting negative reviews up. But the following things made me deny their request in email: -No owner was willing to call me, nothing -They now wanted brand new material after the "Spokesman" on the phone said to return the used material I had left, which I agreed upon -They were making all kinds of demands and not even a mention about that they are sorry or that this would not happen to others (As there can be bad apples in any company) IN MY VERY NEXT EMAIL: I denied their request and told them I will not buy them new material as that was not our agreement and neither do I want to visit their location, as they seem pretty hostile as is. I now just wanted to owner to call me to talk to me about this incident, apologize & let me know this will not happen again to others. I wanted to be VERY civil and even mentioned it. I told them if we can do that we are good to go and I will not go forth with anything negative against their company. THE THREATENING CALL: The VERY next morning, 3/22/16, after I denied their request I got the threatening phone call! Threatening call from a not very good English speaker: "Jonathan? Do not F#&% with me. I am coming to see you NOW". Right after this call that the same person called my girlfriend! And now, both me and my girlfriend, are getting late night harassment calls from unavailable numbers! We have made a coupe police reports with the Broward Sheriffs Department. Imagine... all of this for us asking for an apology call from owner and our $635 back? Threats will not silence us but only make the community around us roar. Contact email@example.com for your stories. You MAY be eligible to join a class action lawsuit. DO BUSINESS with 24MOVING at your own risk!!!
I have used movers before, but 24 Moving has been so far, the best moving company EVER! They were on time, which based on my experience is the first time it happens with a moving company. Really well prepared, clean and professional. It took them less time to move my furniture,of which I was impressed.
This was a horrible company and I would NEVER use them again. They get negative stars but that's not an option on here. After a simple move 10 minutes across town, the moving team: 1. Grossly underestimated the time it took for the move and as soon as I was out of sight, they literally took 4 times the time they estimated to get to the new place. 2. The moving team greatly increased the time per their hourly rate by stopping and shopping for a non comparable water crock replacement, without telling me or even asking me (while I'm paying expensive hourly rates for 3 movers) to replace a water dispenser they broke, and also charging me to go back for items they forgot (cords), and to top that off, it took one mover over an hour to for a 10 minute drive to get the cords. I was paying for 3 movers. I shouldn't be paying for their negligence, and how could it possibly take that long? 3. Taking triple time to do the job. I left at 11 am after an hour, and once I was out of sight, didn't see them for 4 hours after they had estimated an hour. Everything was packed up and ready to go when I left. 4. And last, but not least, this takes horrible customer service to a new level. The movers broke my door in my new place by jarring it and apparently jamming it while it was propped open, leaving me with a door that literally would not shut in the doorframe at 9 p.m. at my new place, driving off and saying "it's not their problem." I had to call emergency maintenance to fix my door so I could close it. 5. They broke a few items, scratched a TV stand (I did pay for all the works in packing materials and supplies and for them to pack it) I'm not even complaining about this as this happens sometimes. But I surely don't want to pay $125/ hour for them to shop on my dime to replace something without asking me. They need to do a better packing job as well as they offer very little as far as replacement value. 6. The movers also left trash, empty soda cans, empty food wrappers, and all moving stuff including used tape rolls, etc. scattered at my old place, which I had to pay to clean up. After filing an extremely time-consuming claim of documentation, receipts and time estimates and actual time used, I received very little back on the claim settlement. Filing was not even worth my time. This company exaggerates their time, allows their movers to grossly misuse the time, and has no regard for customer service. There was no apology for breaking my door and their claim process is a joke.
Listen Iíve never left a review before but after my experience with the these thiefís I HAD to. These people belong in prison. Thier business is a sham a scam and every terrible thing you can think of. My mother with 2 babies (very hard to take care of by yourself) needed everything moved out of her house ASAP and transported to a storage. She called these people since it was the first people she saw and I wish she wasnít so busy all the time with the children so she could have seen the reviews well letís ge to the experience. They quoted $95/hr plus $95/hr drive. They took 5 hours to move everything out of the house and on top of that I WITNESSED them break $5000 dresser which they out right denied. On top do that they took 2 hours to drive a place only 45minutes away! What were they doing idk! Once the time came to pay they quoted $600 for the labor and the transportation. Where the scam comes in is the wrapping/boxes. THEY CHARGED $700 FOR BUBBLE WRAPPING! $700! It was regular bubble wrap not diamond encrusted gold plated bubble wrap. The price was $1200 (when they said about $600-700) it was literally a 45min away move. On top of that they were EXTREMELY RUDE (especially Atilla) and just mean to my mother who had to juggle 2 babies on top of these terrible movers. Never use these people even if your life depended on it (unless you enjoy waisting moneys and getting scammed) youíd get better results renting a U-Haul and picking up some workers at a store for half the price. These people should be ashamed of themselves I hope they get shut down and go to jail. If I could leave negative stars I would.
